Michelle Magtunao was born in Manila and lives in Parañaque City. She is an artist, cosplayer and streamer who specializes in virtual roleplaying. The Armiger’s pseudonym “MazdaTiger” stems from her childhood interest in the products of the Japanese auto manufacturer between the 1990s to early 2000s, and her love of cats while living on a farm in Sum-Ag, Bacolod City, Negros Occidental.

Description and symbolism:

The design is generally evocative of the Armiger’s online persona, “MazdaTiger”. The Reuleaux triangles are a well-known symbol of Mazda’s defunct line of rotary engined cars, and reflect the Armiger’s fondess for the RX-8. The indentations evoke a mouth.

The raven gryphon is symbolic of the Armiger’s relief and fear in the face of a medical diagnosis, and captures at once intelligence, naiveté, loyalty and creativity as well as insecurity and restiveness. It also refers to the Armiger’s roleplaying pursuits. The warcry, “Bahala Na”, is akin to “let it be”, “c’est la vie”, or “Hakuna Matata”, expressing acceptance in the face of an otherwise stressful context.

The motto is a reference to a song by Noel Cabangon, longing for a carefree life and reminiscing on good memories.
