Paul Asi Escol Ruiz was born in Manila and lives in Mandaluyong City. He is a 2022 graduate of Jose Rizal University, with a Bachelor of Secondary Education, major in Social Studies.

Description and symbolism:

The sanguine field is in honor of those who have died for Christ and country.

The owl refers to the Armiger’s university education. The hammer alludes to the Armiger’s family heritage as laborers, carpenters and fishermen.

The border in six parts serves as a reminder of humanity’s incompleteness and imperfection, and to seek God always.
