Christian Dominique Asuncion Benedicto was born in Quezon City and lives in Solana, Cagayan Province. He is the eldest son of the late Generoso Benedicto of Hagonoy, Bulacan and Mary Anne Asuncion of Solana, Cagayan Province.

The Armiger is a member of the choir of St. Vincent Ferrer, Centro and a promoter of the Frassati Society. Currently taking a Bachelor’s degree in Education, major in Social Studies at the University of Saint Louis Tuguegarao, the Armiger aspires towards becoming a Religious Education instructor.

The Armiger’s interests include sacred art, liturgical music, ecclesiastical and secular history, the liturgy, classical literature and spiritual works.

Description and symbolism:

The eight pointed star is the symbol of St. Dominic de Guzman, for whom the Armiger is named. The lily is traditionally a symbol of purity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, which the Armiger strives to emulate. Black and white is associated with the Dominican order that the Armiger deeply admires.

Gold and red refer to the Armiger’s hometown, Solana. The town was named after the Marquis of La Solana, Juan Antonio de Urbiztondo y Eguia; the seal of La Solana in Spain has a red background and a golden sun. The horseshoe alludes to the Spanish heritage of the patron of the Armiger’s parish, St. Vincent Ferrer, and honors the town’s calesa industry.

Blazon: Shield: Per fess Sable and Gules, a mullet of eight points per fess Argent and Or, in chief dexter a lily Argent and in base sinister a horseshoe Or.

Motto: Fides, Spes et Caritas (“Faith, Hope and Love”).
