Adelaide E. Demecillo was born in Metro Manila, the daughter of Pedro and Adelaida Demecillo. She lives in Las Piñas. Demecillo studied marketing at San Bernardo College and now works in the automotive sector. She is a devout Roman Catholic.

Description and symbolism:

The red cross fimbriated in gold reflects the Armiger’s devotion to Christ. The sunflower symbolizes the Armiger as growing in faith, supported by the twelve leaves that reflect the Roman Catholic Church. The number twelve specifically refers to the Church as the “Apostolic Faith”. The two white roses are a symbol of purity and innocence.

The motto is drawn from the Gospel of John.

Blazon: Shield: Azure, on a cross Gules fimbriated Or, a sunflower stalked and leaved of twelve Or seeded Tawny between two roses Argent seeded Or.

Motto: Nor turbetur cor vestrum (“Let not your heart be troubled”).
