
Raul Roco was a member of the House of Representatives for Camarines Sur and a senator. He was also a Secretary of the Department of Education, and presidential candidate.


Description and symbolism:
Arms: The design was influenced by arms associated with the Roco name, tracing to Extremadura, Spain and some branches in Italy. The ancient arms consist of an eagle and checkered field. An escutcheon of a sealion was added to denote that this Roco family is now living in the Philippines.
Blazon: Per pale dexter argent, an eagle Sable, displayed tongued and armed Gules, on Sinister a checky Sable and Or, on base an escutcheon Sable a sealion Or tongued and armed Gules. Mantling dexter Sable, doubled Argent sinister Sable, doubled Or. Crest: on a wreath Argent Gules and Or, an ostritch feather plume in the tinctures of the shield.
