Ron Liander Balmonte Carlos was born in San Fernando, Pampanga, grew up in Puerto Princesa City, and lives in San Luis, Pampanga. He attended Holy Trinity University and Saint Mary’s Angel’s College of Pampanga, and is a member of the Third Order of Discalced Augustinians.

Description and symbolism:

The cross flory signifies the Armiger’s devotion and fondness for St. Dominic, commonly used as an element representing the Dominican Order.

The fleur de lis is a symbol of worldwide Scouting movement, and represents the Armiger’s promotion of the movement’s ideals, oath and law by doing a good turn daily.

The Bible and chalice together are commonly associated with St. John Chrysostom, a patron saint of the Armiger and admired as an early Church father, great preacher and doctor of the Church. The red roses allude to the saint’s zealous, courageous, eloquent, wise and fervent preaching as an orator, earning his title Chrysostomos, “golden-mouthed”.

The eight golden roses and crosses refer to the eight chapters of the Rule of St. Augustine, followed by the Order to which the Armiger belongs. As a follower living the example of St. Augustine, the Armiger seeks a holy life closer to Christ adherent to the Rule.

Black is commonly associated with the Third Order of Discalced Augustinians, and alludes to penitence and sacrifice; blue, with the Blessed Mother, and represents the Armiger’s devotion; white, with holiness.

The motto reflects the Armiger’s submission to the will of the Lord.

Blazon: Shield: Per fess enhanced Azure and Argent, in base between two roses Gules a chalice Or surmounting an open book Argent bound Gules, in chief a cross flory between two fleurs de lis Or, within a bordure Sable charged with eight roses Or and eight crosses bottony Argent.

Motto: Tuus ego sum, Domine (“I am yours, Lord”).
