Emblazonment by the Armiger.

A. San Diego y Quintos was born in Quezon City to a Spanish- and Tagalog-speaking family understood to be of Spanish heritage. He lives in Las Piñas and is a senior high school student. He will be pursuing higher education in architecture or engineering.

Description and symbolism:

The column alludes to his professional aspirations in architecture or engineering. The overall appearance of the shield is inspired by a past design of the Royal Australian Institute of Architects, a further reference to his career goals. The potenty red and white are a stylized wall representing fortitude and diligence in work. The moon and stars are a reference to the aphorism by Norman Vincent Peale, “Shoot for the moon; even if you miss, you’ll land among the stars”.

Blazon: Shield: Per fess Sable semy of six mullets Argent and potenty Gules and Argent, overall a column Argent trimmed Or, surmounted with a lying increscent moon Proper.

Motto: Persequere Astra (“Pursue the Stars”)
