Victor Emmanuel Venua Leyran

Victor Emmanuel Venua Leyran was born and lives in Alfonso, Cavite. He is the second child of Victor Escover Leyran and Maricris Bayaborda Venua, and the grandchild of Tirso Rom Leyran and Luz Jimenez Escover, and Santos Mojica Venua and Crispina Vidallon Bayaborda. The Armiger completed a Bachelor of Science in Nursing at De La Salle Medical and Health Sciences Institute, and wishes to continue to pursue medical school at the same institution.

Description and symbolism:

The red crosses of St. Camillus are a reference to this patron saint of nurses and healthcare. The star of La Salle allude to the Armiger’s alma mater.

The staff of Asclepius is a well recognized symbol of healthcare. The green field and line of division allude to a mountain, recalling the Armiger’s birthplace, as well as an agricultural field, in tribute to his grandfather, Tirso Leyran, a farmer.

In the border, the five stars of St. John Nepomucene refer to the Armiger’s parish patron saint, while the fleur de lis symbolize the Armiger’s Marian devotion.

In the crest, the winged ox is a symbol of St. Luke, and the thurible refers to altar service.

Blazon: Shield: Vert, a winged rod of Asclepius Argent, on a chief engrailled Argent a mullet of five points gyronny Argent and Vert between two crosses pattée Gules, all within a bordure Bleu Celeste charged with five fleurs-de-lis alternating with five mullets of six points Or.

Crest: A winged ox salient Argent nimbed Or bearing a thurible Or.

Motto: Domine opus tuum (“Lord, the work is yours”).
