Description and symbolism:

To the Armiger and family, black represents constancy, wisdom, and prudence; blue, representing trust, loyalty, steadfastness, intelligence, faith and truth; and red, representing courage, leadership and willpower.

The two lions symbolize deathless courage, leadership and the nobility of an individual to adhere to and uphold the highest moral values, to strive and to live up to one’s true and highest form of self.

The open book symbolizes knowledge and belief in the continuous pursuit of learning as an invaluable tool for the betterment of oneself. The oak leaf branches represent strength and endurance, qualities that compliment the symbolism of the open book.

The three golden crosses are widely recognized as the Cross of Saint James (Cross of Santiago), connected to the Iberian Peninsula and a reference to the Armiger’s Spanish family roots. These crosses represent the Word of God as the central source of spiritual and moral guidance for the Armiger and family, and signifies their readiness and duty to defend the Catholic faith and values.

The edelweiss flower has deep meaning to the Armiger and symbolizes Courage, Resilience, Devotion and Deep Dedication.

The tree in the crest represents the Armiger’s family, deeply rooted and standing firm throughout the generations. The golden fruits represent the family’s achievements, prosperity, and the continuous yielding of future generations. The serpent encircling the tree serves as a protective boundary and creates a highly unified and striking narrative of endurance and legacy.

The motto is associated with lineage, family bonds, and sacrifice. The Armiger puts great emphasis on familial bonds and values, and believes that family comes first.
