Mary Anne Vicencio

Mary Anne Vicencio was born in Quezon City, the eldest of seven siblings and lives in Mandaluyong City. She completed a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics at St. Scholastica’s College, Manila, and is a junior novice of the Order of Discalced Augustinians lay, Augustinian Martyrs of Japan chapter.

Description and symbolism:

The white field alludes to purity and chastity. The red sun refers to the Eucharist, with Jesus as the rising sun in the east. The six stars are a reference to the Armiger’s siblings also being led to the Eucharist. In base, the white and black bars allude to the prison uniform of St. Maximilian, whose feast day falls on the Armiger’s birthday. They also form a mountain, a reference to the Armiger’s outdoor hobbies.

Blazon: Shield: Per chevron in chief Argent a sun in splendor between six estoiles Gules and in base paly Argent and Azure.

Motto: Vacate et videte (“Be still and understand”).
