
Clarisse Marjerie T. Aliganga was born in Manila and lives in Makati City. She is the only child of Narciso Jr. and Clarita Aliganga, both originally from Cebu.
The Armiger finished a Bachelor of Secondary Education with a major in English. She is currently taking a Certificate of Biblical Studies and Master of Arts in Education, with a major in Early Childhood Education, and teaches English as a second language.
The Armiger is also a Catholic revert by the guidance of Our Lady and St. Joseph.
Description and symbolism:
The green surrounding the white symbolizes the protection of St. Joseph, recalling his safeguard of the Holy Family. The white stands for the purity of the Blessed Virgin Mary and the chastity of St. Joseph.
The star at the top represents the Eucharist, recalling the Star of Bethlehem that announced the presence of Christ in the flesh, towards whom the Armiger holds a deep devotion.
The four roses signify the evangelical counsels of the Lay Discalced Augustinians – chastity, poverty, obedience, and humility – as well as the four sets of mysteries of the Holy Rosary of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
At the base is the guardian angel, to whom, together with St. Joseph, the Armiger entrusts her protection.
