Aaron John R. Cruz

Aaron John R. Cruz was born in Floridablanca, Pampange and lives in Porac, Pampanga. He was educated at Holy Angel University, taking a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. He is currently Head of Ministry on Liturgy at Christ, Light of the Nations Parish, where his family serves the Church. As a camarero, or chamberlain, he is a custodian of relics and images of saints entrusted to him.

Description and symbolism:

The gold recalls Christ as Light of the Nations, the title used in the Armiger’s home parish, and representing the light of Christ as the hope shining through the hearts of many.

The chevron alludes to a mountain, which is canting to the Armiger’s name Aaron, under the Hebrew meaning of a high mountain or mountain of strength. The blue reflects the Marian tradition.

The star is a symbol of Marian devotion and love of Mary, Mother of God.

The angel represents the Armiger’s alma mater, Holy Angel University, and his own devotion to the Guardian Angel.

Blazon: Shield: Per chevron Or and Azure, in dexter chief a star of eight points, in base a seraph nimbed, all counterchanged.

Motto: Caritas numquam excidit (“Love never fails”).
