Klein Ely R. Reyes

Klein Ely R. Reyes was born in and lives in Tarlac City. He is a student at Tarlac High School, enrolled in the Journalism program and is an active student journalist. He also serves as an altar server at the San Sebastian Cathedral Parish in the Diocese of Tarlac.

Description and symbolism:

The black and white division represents wisdom and truth. The lozenges symbolize perseverance and structured thought, reflecting the pursuit of journalism. The feather signifies writing and knowledge, while the sheaves represent the abundance of rice in Tarlac, especially in the asikan areas, highlighting the province’s agricultural heritage.

The right hand symbolizes integrity and a commitment to honesty. The cross upon it represents a binding seal – once a vow is made, nothing shall break it.

Blazon: Shield: Per fess Sable and Argent, three fusils conjoined throughout in fess, the outer pair issuant from the flanks, a feather between four sheaves of wheat, each of one ear palewise and two in saltire, all counterchanged.

Crest: A dexter hand apaumée Argent charged throughout with a saltire Sable.

Motto: Misericordia et sapientia (“Mercy and wisdom”).
