
Jasper Escobido Perido was born in Silang, Cavite and lives in Indang, Cavite.
Description and symbolism:
The blue border of gold stars recalls the crown of twelve stars of Mary, and represent the Armiger’s devotion to the Blessed Virgin.
The division of the shield into four in yellow and white form a cross, and reflect the colors of the patron saint of the Armiger’s home parish, St. Gregory the Great. It also alludes to the Armiger’s membership in the Confradia de San Gregorio Magno de Yndang.
The brown lily symbolizes strength and solidity, and the Armiger’s devotion to his main patron saint, St. Anthony of Padua.
The wheat sheaves represents the Armiger’s vocation, and is a symbol of the Armiger’s second patron saint, St. Hannibal Maria de Francia, the founder of the Rogationist heart of Jesus. The Armiger is an alumnus of the Rogationist College in Silang. The number five recalls the five wounds of Jesus.
The heart pierced with an arrow symbolizes St. Teresa of Avila, the Armiger’s third patron saint. The arrow is meant as a dart of love, being pierced by an angel.
Blazon: Shield: Quarterly Or and Argent, overall a heart Gules pierced by an arrow Argent, ensigned by five wheat sheaves and a brown lily, all Proper, within a bordure Azure of twelve stars of six points Or.
Motto: Datum perficiemus munus (“We shall accomplish the mission assigned”).
