Description and symbolism:

The lion wields a book reading Pax tibi Marce evangelista meus, “Peace unto you, Mark, my Evangelist”, canting to the Armiger’s baptismal name. The red chief alludes to the martyrdom of two Filipino saints, St. Lorenzo Ruiz and St. Pedro Calungsod.

The gold cross that divides the shield into quarters is canting to the Armiger’s family name, Dela Cruz. The crescent mood and blue background represent the Icon of Immaculate Conception, the patroness of the Province of Bulacan and of the Philippines.

The blue and white waves recall the waters of Manila Bay while the green background refer to the farmlands of the Armiger’s home province.

The lily recalls the Armiger’s second baptismal name, Anthony.
