Description and symbolism:
The bend of alternating gold and red stripes represent the important places in the Armiger’s life. The gold alludes to the abundant yellow flora of his birthplace in Marilao, Bulacan, while red recalls Valenzuela City, named for Katipunan member Pio Valenzuela.
The tau crosses, as a reference to the crosses used by the Order of St. Francis of Assisi, are canting to the Armiger’s family name, Francisco. The crosses are placed on the red stripes reflecting that the Francisco family lives in Valenzuela City.
The scroll alludes to the Armiger’s given names. Timothy was a disciple of St. Paul who received two epistles from the Saint; Justin was an early Christian philosopher and martyr who wrote several works in defence of the faith.
The quill pen and scroll together refer to the Armiger’s occupation as a teacher in English and Journalism, as well as his parish service as a lector and communications committee volunteer.
The motto is drawn from Psalm 70:1, which further inspired in Spanish translation a line from the song “La muerte no es el final”.
In this emblazonment, the suspended medallion is of a Knight Commander of the Order of the Knights of Rizal.
