Description and symbolism:

Blue is in honor of the Armiger’s first parish, the Archdiocesan Shrine of Our Lady of Loreto in Manila, which highlights his deep devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary. Blue also represents the Magat River, the main irrigation source for the town of Solano, Nueva Vizcaya; and the La Mesa Dam reservoir, Metro Manila’s primary water source.

The white tamarind tree is canting to Sampaloc, the Armiger’s birth neighborhood; the tree’s roots allude to family, in memory of the Armiger’s father.

The Agnus Dei with crozier recalls the Cathedral Shrine and Parish of the Good Shepherd, where the Armiger received the sacraments of baptism and confirmation, and where he continues to serve the Church. Beneath the crook of the crozier is a small fleur de lis, a symbol of virtue and love in honor of the Armiger’s mother. The lily is fastened to the crozier and alludes to the Cathedral where she served and is interred.

The star in chief is a Signum Fidei, or sign of faith, in tribute to the Armiger’s Lasallian education and De La Salle Brothers who are a source of inspiration. The star also represents commitment to the teachings of St. Jean-Baptiste de La Salle and St. Benilde Romancon.

The motto is a traditional invocation used in Lasallian prayers, to live in one’s heart despite one’s limitations, flaws and unworthiness.

Blazon: Shield: Azure a tamarind tree eradicated Argent, surmounted by an Agnus Dei regardant Argent haloed Or with crucifer Gules bearing a crozier Or, in chief sinister a mullet gyronny of ten Azure and Argent fimbriated Argent.
